Polar Night Party and German Days summons people

Two different meetings gathered people together where food and wines were common denominator. Polar Night -party evening in Juankoski summoned wine and food people together before Christmas time, just to meet and discuss about events during the ending year. German Days summoned travelling bloggers together in Helsinki. German National Tourist Office staged a short bulletin and workshop for Finnish travelling bloggers. The end of a year is a good time for planning tourist attraction for next year.

Along Golden Ditch – a tale from Lappland was showstopper during the Polar Night -evening providing thoughts and associations with participants! This wooden relief is made by the sculptor Sulo Norberg, living in Muuruvesi but hailing from Sodankylä in Lappland.

As a starter different kinds of fish was set on a plate; vendance roe on a spoon, cold-smoked whitefish, salted whitefish chevice, cold-smoked Finnish rainbow trout, cold-smoked trout tartare enchantment on a dark rye bred and original Lappish Puikula potateos.

Reindeer soup, made out of frozen chopped reindeer and thin, fried Lappish cheese-sandwich is right dish for a relaxed rendezvous with friends!

Handbaked, thin, real Lappish flatbread (a’la Maritta Norberg) is the right and only choice with the reindeer soup.
